Billy Button Woollyheads
A hardy perennial with beautiful pompom blooms that resemble small, fluffy tennis balls. Flowers throughout Spring (year round in warm climates) and is excellent for cut flowers and drying. Very frost tolerant.
Billy Button is an iconic plant of the Australian Alps, which contain several vulnerable or threatened sub-species. You can find it in all other states except Northern Territory.

How To Grow | Sow direct where they are to grow or into seed trays filled with a moist quality seed raising mix. Sprinkle seeds over soil, firm down gently and keep damp. Do not cover as seeds need light for germination. Prefers a moist but well drained soil, but can take dry periods and coastal sites. Flowers from 10 weeks. |
