These golden onions store well for up to 10 months. Slow to bolt and an excellent keeper. Performs best in heavily manured and well dug site. Lift when tops start to wilt and fall over. Golden globes of delicious white flesh with good resistance to bolting.
How To Grow | Sow 5mm (¼”) deep, in rows 20cm (8”) apart. Cover with fine soil and keep moist. Thin seedlings early to 2cm (1”) and later to 10cm (4”) apart. Prepare the soil well by adding organic material and a pre-planting fertiliser. Seedlings emerge 10-14 days. |
